BlackBerry 10 Not To Be Sold In Japan.

BlackBerry 10 Not To Be Sold In Japan.:

The buzz reverberating from the new BlackBerry 10 smartphone is being felt virtually round the world. But, its a pity that some countries would be left in the dark of it. The makers of the smartphone declared yesterday that they wont launch the device in Japan.

"We are in the process of launching BlackBerry 10 globally in key markets and we are seeing positive demand for the BlackBerry Z10 in countries where it has already launched."

A BlackBerry spokesman later confirmed in an e-mail to CNET:

"Japan is not a major market for BlackBerry, and we have no plans to launch BlackBerry 10 smartphones there at this time."

Japan who is a major consumer of smartphones don't seem to be 'favouriting' the BB Z10.  According to research firm, ComScore, Android is sitting on 64% of Japan's smartphone market share and Apple's iOS clenched a 32% share in August, leaving Microsoft's Windows Phone in third place with 3 percent, while BlackBerry OS and Nokia Symbian coin out a lilliputian less-than-half a percentage point.

Although, the makers of the smartphone have certified that BlackBerry 10 wont be launched in Japan, they will continue to show support to their customers in Japan. One of their spokesmen asserted:

"we will continue to support BlackBerry customers in Japan.".

Why Do Yoruba People Have Low Facebook Name Self Esteem?

Why Do Yoruba People Have Low Facebook Name Self Esteem?:

"Why Do Yoruba People Have Low Facebook Name Self Esteem?" Ex Oyo State Governor's Daughter, Omololu Olunloyo Asks. You may remember her from the post I put up not too long ago where she spoke about why she is proudly unmarried at the age of 48. If you missed it click HERE to read it.

She has created a lot of buzz again because of her write up which you'll find below, and the Yorubas are yet to stop cursing her and calling her all sorts of names. She wrote;

Nigerians really irritate me on Facebook when they alter their names into these eyesore names. As a member of the Community standards team at Facebook, u are not allowed a fake name. Many Nigerians in the Yoruba tribe where I am from, disgustingly alter the spellings of their names to horrible proportions. These beautiful African names are defaced due to lack of self esteem. I reported 10 last week on FB and they were told to produce ID before their pages could be re-opened. They got mad at me. I clearly warned them beforehand. Even ppl with other fake nicknames need to be reported if you see them without a real name. I don't see this trend in other tribes in Nigeria. #SMH

My full name is Olukemi Omololu-OlunloyoSpelled like a eyesore is Holukehmi Hormololoo-Howloonlawyour

Its the Facebook Community Standards rule.I am a SnitchFollow me @Snitchlady on Twitter

I still can't believe she really had the time to report Facebook users. She is one tough lady I tell you and she goes for exactly what she wants. She is also famous for saying;

“Biafra is dead! Rot in Hell Ojukwu for killing those children.”
She really does say it as she sees it.

Dangote Splashes N130 million Super Eagles For Reaching The AFCON Finals

Dangote Splashes N130 million Super Eagles For Reaching The AFCON Finals:

Business mogul and President/CEO of Dangote Group Aliko Dangote was also left awe-stricken by the Super Eagles' victory at the semi-finals of the ongoing Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON).

The Billionaire Businessman forked out a wholesome N130 million on the Eagles for making it the AFCON finals after their 4-1 victory against the Malian football team.

According to Sports Minister Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi: "Dangote has always demonstrated commitment to government and people of Nigeria. We are happy over the gesture shown to the players and the coaching crew. It is an example for other well-meaning Nigerians to follow."

Such generous gesture!

Kanye West Bans Photos Of Him In Skirt

Kanye West Bans Photos Of Him In Skirt :

Noted, Kanye West might have started designing clothes but his latest fashion foray of wearing skirts doesn't seem to be admired by other celebrity mates like Chris Brown and Common.

The A-List Rapper is seemingly the target of fellow rapper LORD JAMAR's song 'Lift Up Your Skirt' as his lyrics highlighted:
"He introduced the skinny jeans to the rap scene/ Then he wore a f***ing skirt on the video screen/ Then he wore it again at a memorial/ I can’t pretend this sh*t ain't deplorable."

 The fashion faux pas caused a commotion on tweeter as fans tweeted in utter disappointment at his wardrobe choice and even created a parody account for it @KanyesSkirt which in no-time attracted over 1000 followers and posted tweets like:

 "Sorry everybody. This is awkward for me too. #121212Concert", and:
 "Really dude? Get off stage. I'm smelling funky things down here.#121212Concert".
His outlook in the skirt didn't fall in accordance with fellow Rapper Common's admiration also. He (Common) posted on twitter:
"Pyrex and a skirt? S*** ain't adding up And if u co-sign this I'm blocking u!! Straight up. Ima have to save us."
We gathered from The Sun newspaper, UK, that in an attempt to erase the humiliating skirt memory, Kanye asked picture agency Getty Images to delete photo they have of him in his leather skirt at the Hurricane Sandy benefit gig last year.
